I see all these teen writers in magazines/books . . . I really do enjoy writing, so I wanted to know how I would go about joining things like that. I’m a 14 year old girl, and I stumbled upon Teen Ink in the library a while ago. Right now, I went to their website, and I saw the “Submit” button. So I was wondering, in YOUR opinion, do you think I should submit some work to them? Short stories mostly, I have a lot I could send. And my second question, what is the best way to go about getting a teen writing job for a magazine. I don’t know if I would be a successful writer, so I’m just experimenting, seeing if I get something put somewhere would be a great start! Thanks, and anyone who helps will be forever on my non-hate list (which believe me, as a teen stretches less than a foot).

Well, we do not know if you are actually talented at writing so it is up to you on whether or not you should submit work. Getting a writing job for a magazine is probably pretty hard at that age especially since you are barely a teenager, I’m sure they probably go more for the 16-18 years old age group, but you never know until you try

Hi,
I need a source code for a website I made, I made a form to be filled, what’s missing is, I need when someone press the “Submit” button, all the information in the text boxes to be sent to an e-mail.
I would really appreciate it if someone made me this script or guided me to any website where I can ask programmers to do it.

To send an email from a script, you will need to use a server-side language, like PHP or ASP.

I suggest you use PHP, as it is free and easy to use.

Just use PHP’s mail() function, and it can send an email with the subject and message you need.

I can’t think the name of a website where you can go and several who are interersted in your project can “submit” their ideas and you choose which one is best. Does anyone know where I can have this done? I’m interested in designing my own greeting cards.

when people fill this form out, it’s supposed to say “your name is _____ your email is______”. but when i go to the site, it doesn’t hide the information at first. the website is spiffypuff.somee.com/fontgen.asp
you can see the form, and if someone can change the code to make it hide the “your name is your email is” on the page, i’ll pick it as best answer.

I built an e-mail form on my website and am using a PHP script to send to e-mail. I validated it using dreamweaver. But if I skip any fields an error message shows for that field and all of the other blank fields even if I haven’t gotten to them yet.

Is there any way to validate the form so that it dosen’t give an error message until the click “Submit”?
